Flying In
Chicago has two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). We recommend flying into O'Hare, as it's closer to both venues and better connected to public transit.
Getting Around
BY RIDESHARE & TAXI
Uber/Lyft and taxis are available throughout Chicago and the suburbs, including Palatine.
Uber and Lyft are widely available in both Chicago and the suburbs, including Palatine. They’re convenient for getting to your hotel, wedding events, or exploring the area.

BY RENTAL CAR
If you prefer to drive yourself, both O’Hare and Midway have rental car centers with major companies such as Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and Hertz.

BY PUBLIC TRANSIT
- Mehndi & Langar (Palatine, IL) — Metra operates regional trains that connect downtown Chicago with suburbs like Palatine. The UP-NW Yellow Line will drop you off at the "Palatine" station. The Mehndi venue is a 20-minute walk from the station, or a short taxi ride. The Langar venue is a bit further.
- Ceremony & Reception (Oak Park, IL) — Take the CTA Green Line in the direction of "Harlem/Lake", and get off at "Central". The venue is a 20-minute walk from the station, or a short taxi ride.
